Moving in Monster: village centre, Duingeest, Westmade and Ter Heijde
Monster is a coastal village with a compact old centre. The streets there are narrow and a moving truck will not fit in front of every door. We check in advance where the truck can park and whether a moving lift (furniture hoist) would be useful.
In Duingeest, on the south side of the village up against the dunes, and in Westmade we move people into new-build homes. There we schedule the move for the day you get the keys and put everything in the right place in one go. Along the country lanes around the village there are detached houses with a lot of household contents, a shed and garden furniture: we include those in a single plan as well.
Ter Heijde lies right behind the beach and the dunes. A strong sea wind often blows there, so your furniture goes into the truck well wrapped and covered, and spends as little time outside as possible.

From Monster to The Hague via the Monsterseweg, or the other way round
Many moves go from Monster to The Hague, or the other way round. From the edge of the village, the Monsterseweg runs straight into The Hague, towards Loosduinen.
At the other end, in The Hague, a walk-up apartment (portiek) or an upstairs apartment with a narrow stairwell is often waiting. That is where we use the moving lift; we assess this in advance and arrange everything. That way a sofa from a detached house on the edge of the dunes goes up to a third floor in The Hague just as neatly.
